–Jason Laferriere has spent over 32 years in Law Enforcement and 35 years studying and teaching martial arts

-Jason served as a Federal Special Agent with HSI Homeland Security Investigations for 21 years. During that time Jason served on HSI Chicago’s Special Response Team (SRT) for ten years and carried the positions of Assistant Team Leader and Training Coordinator. 

-Jason has designed and developed the Undercover Combative System, Undercover Rescue System, Vehicle Escape and Evasion System, Edged Weapon Escape Course, and the SRT Control Tactics Instructor course currently in use by law enforcement agencies at the Federal, State, and Local levels.

-Jason has trained Elite Level Law Enforcement Teams internationally in Asia, Africa, Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean.

-Jason worked at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) as an Instructor, teaching both basic and advanced students.

–Prior to working in Federal Law Enforcement, Jason worked as a Police Officer in Montpelier, Vermont where he was the lead Defensive Tactics Instructor for his department.

-Early in Jason’s law enforcement career, he was employed with the Vermont Department of Corrections, starting as a Corrections Officer and then advancing on to Probation and Parole.

-Jason started his career in Law Enforcement while serving his Country in the United States Coast Guard as a high-risk boarding team member, and Gunners Mate.
